Caraiman Cross

Caraiman Cross was built on Caraiman Mountain to commemorate World War 1's heroes who defended Predeal passage from the enemy. Since its construction in 1920s it become a famous and iconic monument visited by thousands of people each year. The monument was recognised by the Guinness World Records as being the world's highest cross built on a mountain peak. The cross was constructed at 2291m altitude above sea level, around 40m in height and lit with 300 light bulbs, overlooking Busteni town and Prahova Valley.

Babele Mountains

Babele mountains are proof of most amazing natural erosion of mountain rocks which eventually formed into dramatic sculptures. The rock formations have been recognised as natural monument and is a must see attraction in the Carpathian Mountains. The iconic mountain formations have been given different names, such as the Romanian Sfinx.

Bran Castle

Bran Castle is a historic symbol purpose-built fortress between what used to be two separate Romanian regions at the time, to collect tax in the medieval period. Since Bram Stoker's famous book based on Vlad the Impaler, the Castle has been re-branded as Dracula's Castle, which made it well known outside of Romania. This Castle has had an eventful history surviving during many periods of unrest. It's walls are adornd with facts and stories that happened during it's colourful history.

Peles Castle

Peles Castle is the most iconic and famous Royal Castle built at the initiative of King Carol the first of Romania, between 1873 to 1914. It was built for the Royal family retreats during the summer. It currently houses the National Museum of Peles.
